ABT is expected to be a team player, offering clients its broad knowledge and know-how in the design and implementation stages.
Therefore, it is a great challenge to me to monitor the technological quality of the building process. A lot is still being ‘miscommunicated'. This needs to change. There should be contact between design and implementation. There has to be a bundling of knowledge, from the drawing table to the building site. This will raise the quality level, simply and surely.
After all, we do not just build for people, we also build together with people. And it is this combination of people and technology that is the most fascinating aspect of my job.
After graduation, I started my career with ABT in 1979. Later, I became project leader and department head, after which I was appointed senior consultant with the consultancy group structures in 1999.
