Government authorities increasingly market the execution and realisation of new buildings in ‘Design & Build’ or ‘Design, Build, Finance, Maintain’ (DBFM) contracts. In these contracts, the architect, engineer, developer and builder together form a consortium which designs and realises and, if desired, finances the building as a whole. This way, the authorities make optimum use of the knowledge and financing possibilities that are present in the market. In addition, DBFM contracts enable efficient working methods.

In this dynamic and innovative environment, ABT is able to guarantee the quality and reliability required by the government. Depending on the context, ABT will act as a party within the consortium, process supervisor, and/or quality assurer. In addition, ABT is able to work in an integrated and multidisciplinary manner within the consortium.
