The design of wind turbine foundations is a good example of continuing development based on progressive insights. For this project, ABT made a forward leap in optimisation in the field of wind turbine foundations, resulting in savings of about 45% compared to standard foundations for this type of wind turbine. The concrete reinforcement design, combined with a smart prefabrication solution for reinforcement by the contractor, makes the application of the reinforcement simpler and more efficient.

This project involved 21 wind turbines of the V90-3 MW type with a shaft height of 100 m. The expected annual average energy yield is 193.200 MWh, which is enough for about 60,000 households.
