Airport terminal St. MaartenDutch AntillesThe terminal building for the airport on Sint-Maarten consists of a steel roof and outer wall construction with steel plate concrete floors on a steel load-bearing internal frame. The whole building rests on in situ poured concrete foundations, partly provided with a basement and a sunken section. The building is hurricane and earthquake resistant. Apart from the terminal building, a number of outbuildings fall under the project, including a bus station and taxi ranks, car park, ticket office, an energy and water station and an office.
