On the quay where once ships sailed for America, ‘De Rotterdam’ will arise.
Three multifunctional towers, each 150 metres high, with in total 155,000 m2 GFA, accommodate offices, a hotel, restaurant, conference centre, apartments and shops.
The various functions are organised into different blocks that consist in essence of a core and a shell. This principle offers the users as much flexibility as possible. Through the concentration and synergy of the functions present, the concept of the ‘vertical city’ has been realised.
On the ground floor are to be found the public functions and the entrance halls for the functions situated above. An extensive public space links all the functions and users in the building. A large parking garage and fitness centre complete the whole.
