Antwerp

In the 60 metre high museum tower, several special construction forms and building methods are used.

The central core of high-strength architectonic concrete was cast in situ. This supports a heavy steel structure that bears the weight of the museum halls.

The tower's exterior wall is built up from mutually supporting prefabricated panels of architectonic concrete.
